The Gulton-Statham PA/PG3018 Remote Diaphragm Seal Adjustable Absolute and Gage Pressure Transmitters are designed to accurately measure absolute and gage pressures up to 5,000 psi as well as 010 psi pressure ranges. The accuracy and stability of this sputtered strain gage sensor technology is combined with simple DC electronics in a fully welded, hermetically-sealed 316SST housing to provide high accuracy and a highly reliable pressure measurement, even in severe environments.
The PA/PG3018 is a rugged and reliable solution for severe environments, even underwater and undersea measurements. These units are hermetically sealed and submersible to 1500 meters (5075 ft.), making submerged monitoring of closed tank levels or direct mounting on a pipeline to monitor for leaks or blockage quick and easy.
The PA/PG3018 is a completely welded system. A small-bore, thick-walled capillary is used to minimize oil volume and subsequent thermal errors due to oil expansion or contraction. The sensor can withstand up to twice the rated range pressure or up to the flange rating limits, whichever is lower. The sensing assembly is isolated from the process media by an insulating glass seal, preventing damage caused by process-borne electrical transients.
