AMETEK POWER INSTRUMENTS RELEASES NEW COMMUNICATION PLATFORM FOR AN-3100D & 90A ANNUNCIATORS

All of AMETEK Power Instruments AN-3100D and 90A Annunciators have been updated with a new communication board.

New communication features include:

Dual Simultaneous Communications - Serial & Ethernet: Use Serial or Ethernet Ports simultaneously and with the same or different protocols.

Multiple Ethernet Connections - Simultaneously run multiple applications on Ethernet (Modbus TCP/IP and DNP) and access Ethernet Port with various connections such as Multiple Modbus Masters.

Enhanced Protocol Support - Bi-Directional Modbus TCP/IP with master/slave functionality. Simultaneous Modbus and DNP communications.

Ease of Use - AMETEK's updated software configuration will provide support while maintaining compatibility for new and current systems. Firmware and options can now be updated in the field with a web browser (requires ethernet).

With these new features, we can now meet a variety of applications:

Transmit And Receive Alarms At The Same Time - An Annunciator can receive alarms from one device and transfer them to another using Modbus.

Redundant Communications - Send alarms to the Annunciator from two different sources or transmit the alarms to two different devices.

Retrofit Your Existing Annunciator - AMETEK's new communication board can be installed in your current AN-3100D & 90A Annunciators.
